Cinnamon Ornaments
These smell so good!
1 cup applesauce
1 & ½ cups cinnamon
1/3 cup white glue
Mix well. Refrigerate for ½ hour.
Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
Poke hole in top with a straw for a ribbon.
Air dry for 2 days.

Our Favorite play dough
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon food coloring
2 tablespoons oil
2 cups water.
Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Still constantly over medium heat.
Be careful not to burn bottom of pan.
Cook until dough leaves the side of the pan.
Remove from pan and knead for a few minutes.
You can also add flavoring like peppermint, vanilla, and cherry!
Store in airtight container or Ziploc bag.

Goop
Mix cornstarch with water in a bowl or Ziploc bag.
Be careful not to water down too much.
It should drip from your fingers when a handful is squished!!!

Silly Putty
1 cup Elmers glue
1 cup liquid starch
Mix and mix and mix and mix forever until smooth and stretchy.

Homemade Bubbles
1 cup JOY dish soap
1 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
Mix and allow to sit for an hour or two.

Play Clay
1 one pound box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
1 cup corn starch
1 & ¼ cups cold water
Stir together baking soda and corn starch in a heavy saucepan.
Add water and cook over medium heat until mixture reaches consistency of mashed potatoes.
Remove from heat, put dough on a plate, and cover with a damp towel.
When cool enough, pat smooth, roll out into ¼ inch thickness between 2 sheets of waxed paper.
Cut with cookie cutters. Use toothpick or straw for a hole for ribbon.
To dry the shapes, allow to air dry overnight.
To use as play dough, keep in Ziploc bag.
